YOUR WILDEST DREAMS START NOW

Your life is full of joy. So why do your finances feel stifled in the ordinary?

When you decide to live life to its fullest, everything shifts.

You may change how you work, where you live, and who you surround yourself with. You realign it all with what matters most to you.

Then you meet with a financial advisor who just wants to sell you on an insurance policy or new investment strategy. You’ve seen enough contracts and line graphs to last a lifetime, and you’re done with financial strategies that miss the point.

You crave something different.

Welcome to the financial planning process that puts you and your life first.

“There are those who travel and those who are going somewhere. They are different, and yet they are the same. Successful people have this over their rivals: they know where they are going.”
—Mark Caine

Step 1: Define your core money values

“What’s important about money to you?”

This is the first question we will answer together. But it’s not a trick question!

I am not asking what type of investing is important to you or what insurance products you think you need (or don’t need).

By scheduling a meeting, you’ve proven figuring out your financial life matters to you. But in all my years as an advisor, I have met very few people who say money matters most.

In most cases, money is just the tool to get you to your core values, to what makes you energized about the day and inspired by the future.

The purpose of your journey to your audacious goals is what can keep you going in the years to come.

Step 2: Identify your goals, milestones, and current financial position

Next, we will define your personal financial goals and milestones—including those that seemed too big to voice before.

Along with naming the goals and dreams, we will also define and prioritize each one.

What dollar amount is needed to get there? Are there any deadlines for accomplishing the goals? Which ones matter more than the others?

This meeting also serves as an audit of your current financial position, as we gather information on your cash reserves, investments/assets, insurance policies, and debts that either propel or stand in the way of your goals.

Step 3: Map your path toward success

Now it’s time to draw the roadmap! We help design a plan that covers every aspect of your money and goals.

Together, we break your big goals into manageable sections with mile markers to hit along the way to stay on track. We will also outline action items needed to progressively move you in the right direction.

Step 4: Make the journey

Next, we implement. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it financial plan.

We will continue to meet in a cadence that makes sense, checking in on your progress, adjusting based on life events, and bringing you back to those core values when you need a little motivation.

My team and I keep a pulse on what’s happening in the world and in your life, and we will proactively recommend course corrections throughout the year.

What happens when I reach my financial destination?

That’s the thing with knowing where you’re going: Eventually, you get there.

As you check off goals on your original financial plan one by one, we will begin to brainstorm what’s next for you and how your finances can fuel that next target.

Once you officially outgrow your current roadmap, we will start the process over with your new needs and goals in mind.
