Clarisa Hernandez Announced as Recipient of the 2016 Millennial Advisor Award
Hernandez was one of five rising stars selected for The American College of Financial Services’ award.
BRYN MAWR, Pa. — Clarisa Hernandez, CFP®, ChFC®, Financial Advisor at North Star Resource Group, has been selected as a recipient of The American College of Financial Services’ 2016 Millennial Advisor Award. The Award was presented to five individuals at The College’s annual President’s Dinner, held on Friday, November 18th, 2016 in New York City.
Within the past year, The American College formed the Millennial Advisory Task Force after discovering a need for a platform where top young advisors could collaborate and share ideas. Born from the Task Force was the Millennial Advisor Award, which honors a select group of individuals annually under the age of 35 who have proven outstanding performance and leadership in their careers in the financial industry, as well as a commitment to serving their communities. The five recipients of the 2016 inaugural awards were selected by the Task Force from a long list of nominees.

Hernandez is a Financial Advisor based in North Star’s Denver, CO office. A graduate of Arizona State University, Hernandez started her career with North Star in Phoenix, AZ and in 8 years she has become a consistent successful producer, Founder of North Star’s Denver office, mentor to young advisors in the Denver office and President of North Star’s Medical Division. Outside of North Star, Hernandez is involved with Securian’s Premier Resource Group, WISE (Women’s Interactive Exchange), GAMA International, The American College’s Millennial Advisory Task Force, Social Venture Partners and Brophy Community Foundation.
