North Star Resource Group ranked #103 on the list of Minnesota’s Largest Private Companies from the MSPBJ for significant growth
MINNEAPOLIS—September 11, 2026—North Star Resource Group was announced today as ranking #103 on the list of Minnesota’s Largest Private Companies from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ).
This list recognizes the top privately held companies across Minnesota based on annual revenue. North Star experienced a 25.2% increase in revenue between fiscal years 2023 and 2025.
North Star has received numerous past honors from the MSPBJ. Notable examples include placing on the Largest Minnesota Employers list (#145) in 2025 and the Corporate Giving in Minnesota (#18) and Minnesota-Based Corporate Philanthropists (#14) lists in 2024.
Additionally, the firm has also been named a Largest Wealth Management Firm in the Twin Cities by the MSPBJ, with its most recent #14 ranking occurring in 2024. This marked North Star’s 10th year receiving this honor and an increase from its previous #15 ranking in 2023.
