North Star Resource Group ranked #63 in the Twin Cities on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America for a fifth time
NEW YORK—August 11, 2026—Inc. Magazine today announced that North Star Resource Group was ranked #63 in the Twin Cities on its annual Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America, marking its fifth time on this list.
This list recognizes top-performing companies across the nation based on their revenue growth across a three-year time span. North Star experienced a 29.4% growth in revenue between 2022 and 2025, driven by a commitment to serving others.
“Making this list not once, but for a fifth time represents a major accomplishment for our firm,” stated North Star CEO Ed Deutschlander, CLU®, CLF®. “It serves as a display of our continued success, which is thanks to our dedication to doing the little things right. This includes a commitment to our clients and giving our advisors and team members the resources to change the lives of others forever.”
North Star previously received recognition on this list in 2007, 2009, 2014 and 2015. The firm also received recognition in 2025 as a Best Workplaces list member, which highlights organizations with exemplary company cultures, shown through initiatives and practices that foster employee growth and advancement while thriving in the face of adversity.
This culture is further enhanced by the six core values that North Star promotes: responsibility, faith, integrity, growth, gratitude and service. All six values are integral to maintaining an ethical, people-driven culture throughout the firm that guides its leadership, financial advisors and team members.
Additionally, the firm’s business success has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ), including recent awards such as the Minnesota’s Largest Employers list (#145) in 2025 and the Corporate Giving in Minnesota (#18) and Minnesota-Based Corporate Philanthropists (#14) lists in 2024. The firm has also received past recognition as a Largest Wealth Management Firm in the Twin Cities by MSPBJ, most recently in 2024.
North Star and the other Inc. 5000 list members will be honored at the Inc. 5000 Conference & Gala event on October 14-16, 2026, in Dallas.
