MINNEAPOLIS — November 11, 2021 — Ed Deutschlander, CLU®, CLF, CEO of North Star Resource Group, has been recognized as a 2021 LUMINARY within the Executive Leadership Individuals – RIAs category from ThinkAdvisor.
The Executive Leadership category of the LUMINARIES Awards acknowledges individuals leading and guiding key decisions, including strategy, product development, hiring, the use of technology, and more, in successful, innovative and dynamic ways. The judging panel for this year’s LUMINARIES awards considered a variety of factors which included the nominee’s impact on the firm, its advisors, and the broader professional community and industry with both quantitative and qualitative results, a demonstrated ability to achieve goals and display ingenuity in terms of creative thinking and problem solving, and a personal commitment to the highest ethical standards, service and excellence.
Deutschlander’s excellence in leadership has been recognized individually in the past, including Minnesota Business Magazine’s Paragon of Leadership award, NAIFA’s Four under 40, and Minneapolis/ St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 under 40. Deutschlander also contributes to the financial services industry as the secretary of the Finseca board of directors, immediate past chair of the Finseca Foundation’s executive committee, and as a member of the board of trustees for the American College.
Additionally, North Star has been recognized for several awards under Deutschlander’s motivational guidance and unique perspective on leadership.
