Matthew Suarez helps young families and physicians in residency or just starting their practice to navigate the many financial decisions of their 20s and 30s.
Matt has made it his mission as an advisor to become an expert in student loan consolidation, fee-based financial planning, socially responsible ESG investing, disability insurance, term life insurance, and hybrid long-term care products.
Long-term care is a focus for Matt’s practice after seeing firsthand the impact it can make. He watched how long-term care made a difference in the lives of his grandparents, two of whom passed away after long battles with Alzheimer’s disease and two of whom experienced extended fights with cancer.
He also specializes in disability insurance for doctors to help protect their most important asset: their future earning potential.
Matt has worked in the North Star – Madison office with Brian Hensen for five years. On this team, Matt can provide clients with exceptional care and interest along with the years of industry experience from Brian’s practice.
Working with Matt
Matt became a financial advisor to connect with people’s stories—what they are passionate about, what their fears and concerns are, how they prioritize their time and energy. As an advisor, he helps his clients sort through these feelings and habits to create strategies for organizing their lives around achieving those most important goals.
Once Matt gets to know his clients and understands their passions and goals fully, he works as a teacher helping them understand their options for retirement funding, college funding, insurance coverage and more.
His mission is to supply clients with a unique financial strategy that helps them live without financial stress and that helps them reach their goals without sacrificing essential work-life balance.
If you are a physician starting your career and want to make the commitment to your investments and retirement, you can send Matt an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let him know your top financial priorities or concerns. From there, you can set up a free, no-obligation consultation to review your current financial position and discuss strategies for the future.
