With over 25 years of experience in financial services industry, Jeff’s specializes in the investment management process.
Jeff works one-on-one with clients, specializing in retirement distribution and wealth management. Preparing for and navigating retirement can be complex. Jeff enjoys helping people focus on what really matters to them in life, and then he works with them to develop a portfolio capable of supporting their goals.
Jeff helps quiet the noise of investment advice, providing a calm, trustworthy voice to help individuals reach their investment goals and prepare for life’s important milestones.
In addition to his work with clients, Jeff serves as Vice President and Director of Investments. He coaches North Star financial professionals on portfolio strategies, construction, and management for a diverse group of clients.
Jeff holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, one of the highest distinctions in the investment management profession, and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, noted for its extensive knowledge, experience, and ethical requirements. He attended Minnesota State University at Mankato and graduated in 1996 with a degree.
Jeff grew up in the twin cities area, and now resides in Somerset, WI. As an avid fisherman, you can often find Jeff out on the water. His favorite species is largemouth bass, and he finds a great excitement in attempting to figure them out each day he is out fishing.
To help clients understand the risks they may face throughout their financial path, Jeff and his team embrace an annual bucket strategy. First, the team connects with clients to establish their financial goals for the future. Then, the team works to provide the necessary strategies to guide the client toward those goals. The entirety of Jeff’s practice is built on working with clients to see themselves through time, regardless of the market, and to develop an effective strategy to help them focus on retirement.
