Michelle Sonu has been working in the insurance and financial service industry since 1988. While she was working at Allstate Insurance as a property casualty insurance agent, she felt the need of financial advocacy in her community where most people came to this country at a later age and don’t know much about the American financial system. She then joined Prudential Financial Service as a financial advisor. Her passion has been providing professional financial service to the community based on their needs. She then earned the CFP designation to provide confident financial service to her clients. She worked as a team manager for six years at different financial companies, and currently owns an independent insurance agency providing health insurance solutions in Duluth, GA. Michelle has a B.A. degree from Sung-Shin Women’s College in Seoul, Korea.

Michelle lives in Suwanee, GA, with her husband Alex, who she has been married to for 40 years. During her off time, she likes to hike north Georgian mountains, go to concerts, garden, read, watch movies, and most importantly, spend time with family and friends.
