Eric is a senior partner with North Star and has been with the company for 25 years. He is one of the original founders of the North Star Medical Division, is the co-author of The Physician's Guide to Financial Independence and has been a contributor for various medical magazines and organizations, including Medical Economics. He works primarily with physicians and based on his extensive experience, he's established himself as a financial expert.
Eric works with approximately 600 physicians throughout the United States. He commutes to Minneapolis and Salt Lake City and continues to speak at multiple teaching hospitals and clinics nationally.

Eric is a 1994 honors graduate of Montana State University and has been recognized for several awards and accomplishments throughout his career, including the New Associate of the Year for the entire Securian Financial Services field force in 1996 and Five Star Wealth Manager Recipient in 2019.
Lastly and most importantly, Eric has been happily married for 25 years and has two children. He feels truly blessed to be in this profession assisting his physician client base.

Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers.
