Damon Lichtenberger, CLTC, is a Senior Financial Advisor, Partner and Associate Vice President at North Star Resource Group. He is a member of North Star's Medical Division, a team solely dedicated to helping physicians and dentists achieve financial independence. Damon has developed a national financial advising practice that services clients in roughly 35 states and has been distinguished as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals™. He focuses on helping physicians, dentists, attorneys, business owners and executives reach financial independence.

As a regular key note speaker for various teaching hospitals and medical groups throughout the country, Damon has built a practice focused on helping those in the medical profession. Damon has spoken to physicians and/or dentists at the University of North Carolina, Duke University, Wake Forest University, Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Virginia, Carolinas Medical Center, East Carolina University, University of New Mexico, Texas Tech University, University of Colorado, University of Florida, Mayo Clinic, Carillion Clinic, EVMS, Medical University of South Carolina as well as several private groups.

Damon has been published in Medical Economics, Albuquerque the Magazine, Dental Products Report, the Weekly Alibi, and The Torch all regarding his expertise in the area of financial services. In 2011, New Mexico Business Weekly selected Damon as one of the "Top 40 under 40", an honor received by a select group of impactful young professionals in the community. In 2017, Damon was chosen by LIMRA as one of the "Top 25 Rising Stars Under 40 in Distribution" in the financial services industry worldwide. He is a co-author of Real Life Financial Planning For High Income Medical Professionals, which published in 2017.

Damon is active in the Scott Richards North Star Charitable Foundation, the GAMA Foundation, Bikes for Kids, the Durham Rescue and more. In his personal time, he enjoys traveling, playing or spectating virtually any sport, boating and going to the beach with his dog, Buddy.

Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is an independent membership organization of life insurance and financial service professionals. Membership levels are based on commissions, premiums, or fees generated within a year from investment and insurance products. Members must apply annually and pay a fee. Members must be members in good standing of a Professional Association which has met the following criteria: in existence at least 2 years, have 100 or more members, must be a nonprofit organization, must have a code of ethics and an effective means of dealing with breaches of its code.
