It is important, however, that you are here initially since we are getting to know you, finding out what is important to you, and making recommendations based on your situation. If you leave the local area after that, changes to your portfolio and plan can be made through the mail or by using the fax or telephone.

How much does it cost?
It costs you nothing. The typical financial professional charges fees. However, as financial professionals we choose not to charge fees with this program. Our goal is to build a base of young, successful people who are still in school or just starting their careers. We know the situations faced by young professionals and realize that the last thing you want is another expense. If we charged you fees, it would be very difficult for us to meet.
So, if you don’t charge fees, how do you make any money?
As mentioned earlier, we offer financial products from a wide variety of different companies. If you decide you want to invest money with one or more of these companies, they pay us a commission. This is the same whether you work through North Star or any other financial services firm.
