About

Financial planning has many levels. My goal as an advisor is to help guide my clients through these levels so they may accomplish what is most important to them while establishing a financial plan** as early on in their careers as possible. I can help with your insurance needs, but I am not merely an agent.  I can also help with your portfolios, but I am not merely an investment professional.  Rather, as a comprehensive, full-service financial advisor I will help keep your focus on the goals that will lead you to make the most out of your hard-earned savings.

Some of these goals may include:

  • Do you want to retire at a certain age?
  • Do you want to fully or partially support your kids’ college education?
  • Do you want to ensure your family is properly protected against the unexpected?
  • Do you want to live in a nice house in a great neighborhood with highly-ranked schools?
  • Do you want to have the ability to go on great vacations every year?

All of this is involved in proper goal-focused financial advising!  It is not only investing—financial advising first begins with a lengthy discussion about everything that is important to you.  Then, we begin planning from the ground up, budgeting and ultimately considering implementation with what is needed to help accomplish your future objectives.

I’ve been privileged to have the opportunity to help my clients efficiently work towards their unique, specialized goals since 2001 and have been recognized over 15 times as a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals, which is recognized internationally as the standard of excellence in the life insurance and financial services business. I have also earned the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation. I graduated from the University of Texas in 1996 and currently reside in Austin with my tremendous family – my wife, Amy, and two daughters, Ellen and Cora.

I look forward to hearing from you!
