Doug Weisenberger is a Senior Partner with North Star Resource Group in Madison, Wisconsin. Since starting his career with North Star in 1981, Doug has worked with many families to help create an effective, proper and comfortable allocation of investments toward meeting their objectives. This includes retirement accumulation and distribution, non-retirement investment goals, and family life insurance and estate planning.
Doug also enjoys working with business owners and their employees, and has become a specialist in the implementation and communication of Qualified Retirement Plans. He believes that every employee benefit plan must be viewed as a corporate asset, not a corporate liability.
Doug has an MBA in Finance, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) practitioner, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). In 2008, Doug created a partnership with Josh Evenson to allow for continued growth and succession planning. “We ask clients to plan for 'what-if' scenarios all the time.
