Steven Jedlund, ChFCSenior Associate
Phone: (952) 895-8777 Steven D. Jedlund joined North Star Resource Group in 1985. Steven holds a BA in Mathematics from Augsburg College in Minneapolis and earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He has served in the U.S. Navy, worked as a math teacher and for 13 years was a principal in a large family owned agribusiness. Steven’s area of specialization is financial strategies for families and closely held businesses. He has first hand knowledge of what it takes to make a closely held or family business successful over the long term. As a senior associate with the North Star Resource Group team, Steven works with a variety of business owners, professional and executives advising them on business benefit, retirement, estate and investment strategies. In addition he maintains an active presence in the farm business market where his work has been highlighted in national publications. Steven’s mission is to provide his clients with the financial services and products needed to attain their personal and professional objectives while earning and maintaining their respect and trust. Steven is married and lives in Burnsville, Minnesota. He has two children and two grandchildren. He is active Rotary International, the French American Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the National Ski Patrol.
