Professional In November of 2010, Justin successfully completed the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification, a prestigious designation in which fewer than 10% of those in the industry have achieved. For most of his career, he has been a member of the North Star Medical Division, a group of North Star advisors committed to providing elite expertise for physicians and dentists. ln the Community Justin has been an active member of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities since 2009. Since 2010, he's been a member of Best Prep, a non-profit organization committed to delivering financial education to elementary, junior high, and high schools by teaming up with financial advisors who volunteer their time to deliver this valuable information. He also stays involved with the Scott Richards North Star Charitable Foundation which is committed to many causes including cystic fibrosis, cancer, and underprivileged youth. Personal Justin grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota and attended college at Minnesota State University on a baseball scholarship. He majored in finance, served as captain of the baseball team, and held the position of vice president of the finance club. Justin enjoys all things outdoors that the great state of Minnesota has to offer. His favorite activities include fishing, golf, and squash. Downtown Minneapolis is home for him and his wife, Maggie, a speech therapist in the Minneapolis School District.
