Joey Snyder is a Financial Advisor and member of North Star’s Medical division, a team of professionals specializing in working with physicians, and dentists.  Being a member of the Medical Division has provided him with a proficiency in addressing the unique situations medical professionals face.  Joey and his team work to educate and help their clients develop a strong financial strategy whether in residency, practice or nearing retirement.

Joey partners with senior representatives Damon Lichtenberger, CLTC and Jeff Turton who have developed a national financial services practice serving clients in several states. Jeff and Damon are members of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), The Premier Association of Financial Professionals^®, which recognizes the top 1% of financial representatives worldwide, as two of the industry’s leading advisors. 

As regular keynote speakers for various teaching hospitals and medical groups throughout the country, Damon and Jeff have built a reputation as experts in developing financial strategies for medical professionals. They have spoken to physicians at the University of New Mexico, Texas Tech University, University of Colorado, Duke University, and University of North Carolina, Emory University, University of Virginia, Wake Forrest, Virginia Commonwealth, Eastern Carolina, Midwestern University along with several private groups.  They also host numerous seminars across the country for dentists, and physicians already in practice.  Damon and Jeff were both listed in the November 2010 edition of Medical Economics under “Best Financial Advisors for Doctors” and have also been published in several publications relating to their area of expertise.

Joey graduated with a BA in Economics from Grinnell College.  He was a four year letter winner in Varsity Football and Varsity Track & Field.  In his spare time he enjoys staying active by playing football and basketball.  Joey is also active in several local philanthropies.
