Dan joined North Star Resource Group in April 1986 after working 10 years for another Midwestern life insurance company. Dan is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), and Certified in Long-Term Care (CLTC). He is a life and qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals®, recognizing the top 5-7% of experts in his field. In addition, Dan is a lifetime member of the Leading Producers Round Table and is a member of both the National Association of Life Underwriters and the National Association of Health Underwriters.

He lives in Iowa City with his wife, Cludy. They have four grown children, Melissa, Michael, Sean and Bryan.
